E.F.P.S. is excited to again offer two days of
electives for our students this year! Electives give students a chance to
experience a variety of learning activities they might not have had the
opportunity to try before, allowing students to explore a new area of interest
or discover a hidden talent!
E.F.P.S.
is going to be offering a wide variety of electives, with a cost that ranges
from $0 to $50. Some electives will be held off school property, while others
will be offered at the school. The dates for the Winter Well Being Electives
are Friday, February 26th and Friday March 4th.
As each
elective requires a certain number of students participating in order for it to
occur, we would like you to indicate your child’s first, second, and third
choices. If we do not have enough students in a specific elective, we will not
be able to offer it. Once we have determined numbers, we will be sending home a
confirmation letter with a request for payment for the selected activity.
Ellen Fairclough P.S. sets aside a portion of money raised
through our fundraising efforts to support families who are experiencing
periods of difficulty. This limited support is allocated through a
participatory model which respects the dignity of the families and is carried
out on an individual and confidential basis. If your current family
circumstances are such that you would require this support in order that your
son/daughter participate in the above activity please do not hesitate to
contact Mr. Hamid in the office at 905-294-9455.
